The Fruits of the Spirit

                                                         GALATIANS 5:22

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

It's common knowledge and wisdom that "a tree is recognised by its fruits". The children of God who have chosen to follow Jesus and have undertaken the journey of a lifetime to follow him and become more and more like Him everyday, aspire to bear the fruits of His Spirit.

It will not happen overnight and it's a sometimes a struggle with every decisions you make. No one asks that you become perfect, perfection simply doesn't belong in this world, but you are required to put your best foot forward and give it your best effort every single day.

When you choose to bear the fruits of Jesus's Spirit, you simply say the following:

Love: The foundation on my behaviour. I will open my heart and my spirit to be receptive to                others, stand in their shoes, feel what they feel and keep my mouth shut.

Joy: The strength in Love. I will not allow any circumstance to steal from my mouth my Praise            and my Worship. I will praise the Lord regardless of what I have to face.

Peace: The security in Love. Come what may, Jesus is Lord!

Patience: The endurance in Love. He may not come when I want Him to, but He's always right                  on time.

Kindness: The behaviour of Love. I will eat others with empathy and understanding.

Faithfulness: The confidence in Love. I will be a reliable and an ever-present source of support                       and comfort.

Gentleness: The humility in Love. I will forget myself and meet those who need me at the level                      where they are.

Self-control. The victory in Love. I am the master of the word I didn't say and the slave of the                         word I said.
